La Brava’s backstory is heartbreaking and emotional. In the episode, it is revealed that La Brava wrote a love letter to her crush in middle school. But she is ridiculed for writing a long letter. They even end up calling her a stalker and she is devastated. She decides to stay inside and turns into a recluse. La Brava even tries to end her life but her life changes when she bumps into Gentle Criminal’s videos on the internet.

She gets inspired by his energy to change the world and decides to become a part of his endeavor.

Gentle Criminal’s origin story is similar as they find comfort in each other’s presence. When Deku foils their plan to take over U.A. Academy, he feels bad for crushing their dreams. But now it is time for Deku to move ahead and make the school festival a big success.
