National Gardening Day is marked annually on April 14 to celebrate and encourage people who love to grow plants either in their homes or outdoors.

The day was founded by leading publisher Cool Springs Press in 2018 to celebrate the hobby and laud those who have an expertise in the field. This day also encourages gardeners to share their knowledge with others.
