New On Disney Plus In December: ‘Mandalorian’ Finale, ‘Star Wars,’ ‘Thor’ Movies

Disney Plus only launched a few weeks ago, but the streaming service is continually adding new movies and TV shows. They’ll have plenty of new content in December.

On Sunday, the Disney Plus Twitter account revealed what their more than 10 million subscribers can expect, including some recent favorites. “Thor: Ragnarok” joins later this week while “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” starts streaming just after “Rise of Skywalker” hits theaters (though the current movie won’t join the service for several months). “Garfield: The Movie” and “Glory Road” are also joining the lineup.

Of course, Disney Plus will keep debuting new episodes of the original series. “The Mandalorian” will release new episodes every Friday (with the exception of episode 7, out Wednesday, Dec. 18) up until the Dec. 27 season finale. “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series,” “The World According to Jeff Goldblum” and “Forky Asks A Question” will also continue to drop new installments at the end of the workweek.
