Newer Technology Inc., on Monday said that it will unveil its new USB 2.0 Universal Drive Adapter at Macworld Expo on Jan. 15 in San Francisco.

The NewerTech USB 2.0 Universal Drive Adapter allows various hard drives or optical drives to be connected via USB to any computer for uses such as file transfer or upgrading the internal hard drive.

The firm said the NewerTech USB 2.0 Universal Drive Adapter will be sold for $29.95.

Newer Technology is one of the developers of iPod, iPhone and Macintosh upgrades and accessories.
