KEY POINTS

  • The next villain in Marvel Phase 4 may be different from Thanos
  • The Avengers will have to learn how to fight a new kind of war
  • New heroes will join the team

After the death of Thanos (Josh Brolin) the fans have been wondering who the next big villain will be in Marvel Phase 4 that the Avengers will have to fight eventually. While many believe that it could be the planet eating Galactus, a new theory explores how the next big threat may be an evil multinational from the comics.

The fans may be familiar with the Roxxon Energy Corporation from the comics. The presence of the multinational company has already been established in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and according to CBR, this company could be the main villain going forward.

If the next big threat is from a multinational with evil businesspersons who are spread across the globe, then it will be difficult for the heroes to deal with it because this is an enemy that they can’t simply defeat in a fight.

There may be a slow buildup of the company as the main antagonist for a future “Avengers” movie. There have been rumors that Christian Bale will play the CEO of Roxxon Energy in the next “Thor” movie. The name of the character is Agger in the comics, and he has the power to transform into a mighty Minotaur.

To face this new threat, there has to be new team of Avengers who will have to fight a different kind of battle. Some of the characters from the comics that the fans will get to see in the upcoming Marvel Phase 4 movies are U.S. Agent, Black Knight, Sersi, Gilgamesh, Monica Rambeau, Shang-Chi, Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, and She-Hulk, Screen Rant reported.

There will be many more characters from the comics that will be introduced in Marvel Phase 4 movies. Some of the characters that the fans hope to see are Red Hulk, Kraven the Hunter, Nightmare, Brother Voodoo, Beta Ray Bill, and Doctor Doom, Screen Rant reported.
