Nicki Minaj bought Lil’ Wayne the ultimate sports car- a two-seat, three wheeled car called the Campagna T-Rex. The special occasion? Lil Wayne’s 30th birthday, which was on Thursday.

According to TMZ, Minaj, who was discovered by Lil’ Wayne, spent approximately $70,000 on the ride, which is a motorcycle-car hybrid and is ultra-weight at 1,040 pounds, reaching speeds of 150mph. The T-Rex, however, is retailed at about $50,000. The rapper added additional features to the car, and included “Nicki Loves Tunechi” on the bright red ride. Tunechi is another name Wayne goes by.

Minaj can certainly afford to spend the extra money. She just released her first perfume fragrance, saying in a press release:

"I have always been a huge fan of great fragrances; this is yet another extension of my creative expression and I can't wait to share it with the world. I designed this scent and bottle with my Barbz in mind.” Minaj is also a judge on hit reality competition American Idol.

She is also getting $12 million for a one-year deal on the hit Fox series, a person in the music industry with knowledge of the deal told the Associated Press.

Additionally, Minaj has inked a deal to do a trilogy reality series on E!

Earlier this week, she spoke on "The View" about how moved she is about her own success.

“I never in my life as a little girl growing up in Southside Jamaica Queens, if anyone would have told me that I would have my own perfume one day and be able to inspire young black girls everywhere to go in Macy's or Nordstroms and see their face staring back at them, I would have never believed it,” Minaj said.
