HMD Global is expected to come out with a successor in the Nokia 6.2 later this year and new details have emerged. After being initially reported that the Nokia 6.3 would come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 67x- SoC, it appears the device has gotten a slight bump in the chip department.

The latest is that the Nokia 6.3 will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC, upping the power capacity for a better-performing phone. Aside from that, the main camera compliment has also been revealed by Nokia Power User. The Nokia 6.3 will come with a quad-camera setup comprised of a 24 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide sensor, and a couple of 2 MP sensors (depth and macro).

The only other feature divulged as of this writing is with regards to the biometric security. The Nokia 6.3 will come with a fingerprint scanner that will be located inside the phone's power button. These new updates append a previous claim on the upcoming device, likely to come out by the third or fourth quarter of 2020. The Nokia 6.2 came out in October of last year. Given that the world is dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic right now, there is a chance that its launch may be delayed.

Other than those mentioned above, the Nokia 6.3 will reportedly come with a PureDisplay with a waterdrop notch on top. Upfront will be a 16 MP selfie camera. The projected suggested retail price for the said device will be roughly around $270.

The Nokia 6.3 is categorized as a mid-range device that should gain its share of prospective buyers. Other details about the device include seeing one sporting a 6.2-inch Full HD+ screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It will come armed with a USB-C connector, a 4,000 mAh battery, and the usual connectivity options such as Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi b/g/n/ac according to Gizchina.

Other details such as RAM/ROM configuration have yet to be divulged. But according to Phone Arena, the Nokia 6.3 may come out with a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB ROM with microSD card support for added storage. It is expected to come with Android 10 or 11 out of the box.
