  • Multiple Chinese retailers earlier listed the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti
  • The upcoming graphics would reportedly cost around $400
  • A new report reveals the launch date of the Geforce RTX 3060 Ti and its stock level

A few days ago, multiple Chinese retailers listed the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with a price tag of $400 and its full specs subsequently surfaced online. But it looks like we consumers won’t have to wait that long for the Ampere GPU. According to a new leak, it’s launching in a few days with reportedly limited stock.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti would allegedly launch on Nov. 17, which was first reported by MyDrivers and picked up by Videocardz. The report also suggested that just like its sibling RTX 3070, third-party graphics card manufacturers allegedly claimed that the midrange product’s stock levels would be limited. However, this is expected, considering the graphics card maker has failed to meet the consumers’ demand by some percentage.

Nvidia officially released the GeForce RTX 3070 in the market on Oct 29, following an almost two-week delay from its initial timeline. The company said that the delay should see stronger stock availability. Unfortunately, it seems that wasn't the case considering, despite the significant stock levels, the graphics card was almost immediately sold out.

As for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti specifications, it is rumored to feature the GA104-200 GPU with 8 GB of GDRR^ memory card at 14 Gbps and 4864 CUDA cores. The board would reportedly necessitate lesser power and it’s speculated that its TBP would be around 200W. Its bus would remain at 256-bits and would deliver 448 GB/s of bandwidth, according to rumors.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is seemingly positioned for the market of RTX 2070 Super, but with far superior ray-tracing and better performance level at a strategically lower price point of around $400. Since the upcoming graphics card is a lower-price alternative for products like the GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3090, it is anticipated to move volume, granted, of course, that the company could meet the demand and have ample supply.

The timing of the ampere GPU’s alleged launch falls within that of the AMD Big Navi launch. AMD recently debuted its higher-tier graphics card series, the Radeon RX 6000. However, considering the price point, it looks like Nvidia is not going to compete with the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with AMD’s new products but instead cater to the midrange market.
