Olivia Rodrigo has found fame from her catchy tunes and sky-rocketing fame, but for the second time, she is giving writing credit to another artist for one of her songs that sounded similar to theirs. This time, the credit is being given to members of the band Paramore, after her song "Good 4 U" was called out for similarities to their hit, "Misery Business." ,

Hayley Williams, Paramore's lead singer, and ex-guitarist Joshua Farro are getting credit on Rodrigo's "Sour" album for the song, Variety reports.

The similarities between the two songs were more apparent to many when they heard them, with a mashup of the songs by Adamusic on Youtube getting a lot of attention for calling out that the sounds sounded alike.

Rodrigo previously also gave Taylor Swift writing credits on her song “Déjà vu,” which was reportedly inspired by Swift's “1 Step Forward, 3 Steps Back.”

Songwriting credits have become more popular in recent years, as intellectual property lawsuits involving music have become more detailed.

The controversy over Rodrigo's song came when Paramore's publisher initially posted an Instagram story that included Rodrigo’s “#1 from Top 40” listing saying “A huge shout to our writer Hayley and Williams and Joshua Farro.” Williams then reposted it to her story.

Rodrigo says that the name "Sour," “captured her sound well,” while fans say it reminds them of “a release of anger, sadness, and jealousy" due to “unofficial relationships", according to Study Breaks.

She has spoken in the past as well about how Swift and Paramore were an inspiration for her music in the past, as both were also known for signing about relationships and breakups.
