Pamela Anderson said she was never married to Jon Peters and expressed her interest in getting married “one more time.”

Anderson remains positive about love and marriage despite her most recent breakup with Peters. Just 12 days after Anderson and Peters’ wedding ceremony in Malibu, she told Entertainment Tonight that they were no longer together. She also stressed that they were never married because they split before the paperwork for a marriage certificate was filed.

“I wasn’t married. No,” Anderson told The New York Times. “I’m a romantic. I think I’m an easy target. And I think people just live in fear.”

Looking back at the ceremony, Anderson said that fear played a lot into it. She described it as “kind of a little moment.”

“A moment that came and went, but there was no wedding, there was no marriage, there was no anything. It’s like it never even happened. That sounds bizarre, but that’s it,” Anderson continued.

The “Baywatch” star also recalled how their friendship turned into a brief romance. According to Anderson, it occurred after a trip to India where she spent three weeks in an ayurvedic center meditating and clearing her mind.

When she came back, she saw Peters and it was a whirlwind romance. However, in her memories, it was nothing physical, just a friendship.

“We’re all wounded people,” Anderson added.

“And I’m a big believer in fate, destiny, all those crazy things. So I just -- there’s something about knowing somebody for so long and thinking, 'Oh!' It's -- no hearts were broken. I don't know what his intentions were. And it's almost like I don't even want to think about it too much because it'd be probably too hurtful.”

Following their split, Anderson had no regrets on how things ended between her and Peters. She hopes that he is well amid the coronavirus pandemic even if they are not on speaking terms.

Anderson pointed out that she had been married three times only and not five times like what most people believed.

“I’ve been married to Tommy [Lee], I’ve been married to Bob [Ritchie, better known as Kid Rock] and to Rick [Salomon.] And that is it. Three marriages. I know that’s a lot, but it’s less than five,” she insisted.

When asked if she is still open to getting married, Anderson gave a positive response. Meanwhile, a few days back, she also downplayed the alleged sex tape with her ex Lee. According to Anderson, it was not a sex tape but just a compilation of their vacation when they were naked.
