Reports surfaced on Friday that famed heiress Paris Hilton died at the age of 31. Necropedia.com is alleging that the heiress is being mourned by friends and family after being killed in a violent car crash.

"Paris Hilton, born on February 17, 1981 in New York, was an American heir. She died on September 15, 2012, at the age of 31," the site states. "Friends and family are mourning the loss of a loved one."

Global Associated News also reported that the star died.

"Paris Hilton died in a single vehicle crash on Route 80 between Morristown and Roswell," the site reports. "He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics responding to the vehicle accident and was identified by photo ID found on his body. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been a factor in this accident."

The site also alleges that Hilton was driving a friend's car when she lost control of the vehicle and was killed instantly.

No major outlets have reported on the supposed tragedy, and based on the fact that both sites are not credible news sources, it's clear that the story is nothing more than a hoax.

Hilton joins the list of celebs who were recently reported dead without a shred of evidence.

On Thursday, a "R.I.P. Adam Sandler" Facebook page sparked rumors that the "Billy Madison" star was dead. According to Mstarz, the page accumulated a whopping 65,000 "likes."

Mstarz also reported that Global Associated, the same site responsible for the rumor about Hilton, alleged that the 46-year-old was killed in a snowboarding accident in Zermatt, Switzerland.

E! refuted the site's claims, citing that Sandler is currently filming "Grown Ups 2" as evidence that he is alive and well.

Last week, E! reported that a Facebook page titled "RIP Morgan Freeman" was created -- leading many to believe that the 75-year-old Oscar winner had passed away.

The site quickly issued a statement from Freeman's rep and debunked the rumor.

"Morgan is alive and well, and joins the long list of actors who have been victimized by this hoax," a rep for the actor said.
