Paris Hilton has instigated a social media ruckus with a TikTok video showing her getting ready for a date with Tom Cruise. The video shows the real estate heiress donning a dazzling evening gown as she dolls up for a premiere night with the “Top Gun: Maverick” star, who is also suited up for the occasion.

The video opens with Cruise walking into Hilton’s room, telling her, “Paris, I don’t want to be late for this premiere night. We’ve got to go!” The camera then pans to Hilton, who responds, “You should always run fashionably late, it’s your night!”

Cruise then compliments Hilton’s beauty, saying, “You’re absolutely beautiful,” before asking her what she thinks about his look. “How do I look? Am I print ready to go?” he asks.

“Hmm, let’s check it out,” Hilton answers as she begins fixing his suit. “Looking very sharp, Mr. Cruise,” she says.

Cruise then stands with her in front of the mirror, his arms wrapped around her waist. “I think we’re really going to wow the world,” the actor tells Hilton as the song “Take My Breath Away” from the first “Top Gun” movie is heard in the background.

With Cruise’s hands still wrapped around her, Hilton asks her date, “Do you think people are really going to believe that we’re a couple?,” to which he responds, “I think most people will believe anything.”

“Story of my life,” Hilton tells Cruise before he asks her, “Alright, now we’re going to skydive into this thing. You ready?”

“I do my own stunts,” Hilton answers as she faces Cruise and leaves for the night.

The video has garnered more than one million views on TikTok and earned thousands of comments, many of which were from confused fans who thought the pair was actually dating. “What a minute, what??? What is happening???,” one TikTok user wrote.

“Wait, is this the real Tom Cruise or a computer-generated one?” another wrote.

While many were fooled by the video, others knew the person in the clip was not the real Cruise because of his height. Some also noted that Hilton is already married, although many of them said that she and Cruise seem to be a good match.

To set the record straight, Hilton later commented on her post, saying she was “#Living it up with @deeptomcruise,” suggesting that the man in the video is Cruise’s impersonator Miles Fisher.
