The Powerball jackpot has swelled to $1.5 billion and gotten the attention of some of the richest and most famous celebrities. Even in New York, where residents are taxed the most, a winner could still walk away with nearly a billion dollars, which is more than most celebrities are worth.

For reference, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kim Kardashian West is worth a reported $85 million and pop star Taylor Swift is worth a reported $280 million. The Powerball jackpot would be a large sum of cash for anyone, no matter his or her bank account.

Naturally, the mega-lottery has attracted stars throughout the celebrity spectrum. Kardashian West said she didn't buy any Powerball tickets, but asked her followers if they did.

“Teen Mom OG” star Farrah Abraham, who is worth a reported $1 million, showed off her Powerball tickets before the jackpot drawing Sunday. She’s a resident of Texas, which is one of the best places to win the Powerball since the least amount of money would be taxed.

Former MTV reality star Heidi Montag shared a cry face after she lost Sunday. She and husband Spencer Pratt are reportedly broke after they squandered their $10 million fortune.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams, who has an approximate net worth of $500,000, used Kardashian West’s Kimoji cry face to share her emotion over losing.

Nicole Polizzi, best known as Snooki from “Jersey Shore,” is ready for Wednesday’s Powerball. Thanks to her stint on reality television, endorsements and Etsy products, she’s reportedly worth $4 million.

But not all celebrities who commented about the Powerball wanted the money. “A Thousand Years” singer Christina Perri said happiness comes from within and reality star Kendra Wilkinson lamented money will just attract leeches and leave the winner lonely.
