  • Salah agent rebuffs claim Real Madrid made offer in 2018
  • Abbas says Salah has had no talks with former coaches
  • Salah is happy playing for Liverpool

The name of Mohamed Salah has been in transfer rumors, something that hardly comes as a surprise. Currently with Liverpool, the 28-year-old can only shake his head and shoot down all rumors. There is simply no reason for him to leave the Reds.

And while most are looking at what the future holds for Salah, a past (and alleged) claim could spur more transfer rumors moving forward. Former Egypt assistant coach Hani Ramzy alleged that during a conversation with Salah, the 28-year-old told him that Real Madrid had sent an offer, OnTime Sports reported.

“I was talking to Salah and he told me that Real Madrid had sent him an offer," Ramzy said. “The offer was really good, but Salah discussed it with me and Mr. Cuper, and he decided to stay with Liverpool because he was comfortable there.”

As most know, Salah opted to go to Anfield instead. But it appears that Salah's agent, Ramy Abbas, is not about to let it slide that easily. He tweeted about it and said that his client never discussed any career plans with any ex-coach.

Aside from that, it was also reported in a previous post that Salah was surprised to see his name being mentioned in transfer talks. This was in reaction to a social media post with the caption "keep or sell?" Salah responded with some laughing emojis and even asked his fans for their thoughts.

On cue, Abbas also entered the fray and went up posting the accomplishments of Salah. The intent was to show fans how important the Egyptian footballer was to The Reds and why there is no reason to even consider a potential move out of Anfield.

Since arriving in 2017, Salah has been doing well for Liverpool. He has collected 91 goals in 144 appearances, making him one of the world's top football players. Salah's efforts have been duly recognized as well. He has won the Premier League Golden Boot in back-to-back seasons and has been a vital cog to the charges of Jurgen Klopp.

For now, Salah is happy and unlikely to be moving out of Anfield anytime soon. Rumors will continue but from the way the Egyptian and his agent are responding, these will be nothing more than fake news.
