Camilla Parker Bowles reportedly hates doing one thing when she travels.

Harriet Mallinson, a journalist for Express, spoked to a Clarence House spokesperson who confirmed that Bowles doesn’t like traveling on planes.

“The Duchess does not like flying but I think she sometimes has to embrace the fear and get on with it,” the source said.

Bowles and Prince Charles recently traveled to Africa by plane for their 9-day tour. Their visit wrapped up on Wednesday, Nov. 8. The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall will return to London after their series of engagements in Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya.

However, the mom of two reportedly skipped more than one engagement during their trip because Bowles doesn’t want to take too much on her busy schedule. A similar thing happened when the royal couple went to Australia. Bowles once again left the continent ahead of Prince Charles despite their planned engagements.

“The Duchess doesn’t want this, she does get tired. When they visit Australia on a tour the Duchess is coming back early. The schedule is too much for her as she’s 70 years old. She doesn’t want to take too much on,” a source said.

In related news, Bowles has been making headlines recently over reports that she will become Queen or Queen Consort when Prince Charles becomes King. Guy Birchall, a journalist for The Sun, claimed that Bowles will decline the title of Queen Consort and will opt to be called Princess Consort instead.

But it is also possible that Bowles will be known as the next Queen for the simple reason that she is legally married to Prince Charles, the future King. Bowles also talked about Prince Charles’ future as King and said that her husband remains unfazed by the title.

“His destiny will come. He’s always known it’s going to come and it doesn't weigh on his shoulders at all,” she said (via Express).

When asked if Prince Charles talks about his future succession to the throne, Bowles said no.

“Not very much, no. It’s just something that’s going to happen,” she said.
