Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may not attend Princess Eugenie’s more relaxed wedding reception on Oct. 13.

Matthew Robinson, a journalist for Express, reported that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will most likely be present at the wedding ceremony and reception on Oct. 12. However, they won’t be able to make it to the next-day gathering because they need to prepare for their upcoming trip to Australia.

Prince Harry and Markle will fly to Australia on Oct. 15 to kick off their 16-day overseas tour in the country, which will officially start the day after. They will also be heading to New Zealand, Fiji, and the Kingdom of Tonga during the duration of their trip.

The couple’s journey from London to Australia will last for approximately 22 hours. Due to this, Markle and her husband will be very busy on the days leading up to their trip. The former “Suits” star is currently at home, but Prince Harry joined his older brother, Prince William, at the Illegal Wildlife Trade Conference at St. James’s Palace on Wednesday night.

In related news, Kensington Palace announced that Princess Eugenie will have a third reception on Oct. 13 just weeks before her nuptials to Jack Brooksbank. According to The Telegraph, Princess Eugenie’s Saturday reception will be organized by A-list party planning company Bentley's Entertainment.

“After the more formal celebration at Windsor Castle [reportedly planned and overseen by Lady Elizabeth Anson, the Queen’s cousin], the Saturday bash will be a relaxed party. There will be dodgems and fanfare rides, coconut shies, lots of food stalls, a load of cocktails, bloody Mary’s for the hangovers,” a source said.

Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank invited their closest family and friends to their third reception, but the members of the public have only been asked to attend the ceremony at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on Oct. 12 at 11 a.m.
