Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been issued a warning by a royalist after a surprising incident at the Wimbledon.

Sally Jones, a media consultant, revealed that she was blocked from taking photos of the Duchess of Sussex at the Wimbledon. While speaking with The Telegraph, Jones said that Prince Harry and Markle are weakening their impact by distancing themselves to the public.

“I’m actually a royalist… I think Meghan is a highly talented, lively woman who is a breath of fresh air for the Royal Family. But it saddens me that they are weakening their impact through this behavior… It makes them look silly, it’s childish and takes us for fools,” she said.

Jones also said that Markle’s protection officer, who advised her to not take photos, appeared embarrassed over the request. The royalist informed the protection officer that the request was bonkers because even if she took photos of Markle, she would only get blurry photos of the royal.

But a source close to Markle and Prince Harry said that it is not unusual for people accompanying the members of the royal family to ask members of the public to not take photos. This is usually done to encourage the royals to engage with the event they are attending and the people around them.

However, even after the source’s defense, Markle’s attempt at living privately in the United Kingdom didn’t sit well with Piers Morgan. The “Good Morning Britain” host slammed Prince Harry’s wife on television.

“If you got to Wimbledon in your free tickets in the Royal Box, the best seats in the house for nothing, and you take your two bezzies… you’re public people. If you want to be private, go back to America and live privately,” he said.

Morgan added that Wimbledon is not a private event and it was not held at a private venue that’s why Markle’s request was a complete joke.
