Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might not sign a prenup.

Prince William and Kate Middleton had their royal wedding in 2011. According to Express, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge did not sign a prenup or prenuptial agreement.

The Mail Online also reported that there was no "legally binding document was drawn up before the wedding" following Prince William and Middleton's wedding. If Prince Harry will follow Prince William, he and Markle will also not have a prenup agreement.

"Harry will be guided by his father, the Prince of Wales and his brother - neither had prenups," Kim Aucott told Express. "Even after Charles' horrific divorce with Diana, he chose not to take out a prenup. He will be guided by family, despite advisors around him saying you should think about this."

Julian Hawkhead, a U.K.-based family law attorney also believed that it is unlikely for Prince Harry and Markle to sign a prenup. "No I don't think they will," Hawkhead told Us Weekly.

"If there was any drive to do so it would have come from the senior members of the royal family. There has been absolutely no such direction to do this and in fact, I'm reminded of when Prince William and Kate Middleton were engaged to be married, the Palace made it quite clear that they had no expectation that there should be any such prenuptial arrangement made. The precedent has therefore been set by Harry's father and brother, neither having entered in prenuptial agreements before they married."

While the royal family remains reserved about a prenup, Aucott thinks it is best to have one. "I would have said anyone in their position should be advised to have prenup," Aucott told Express. "And the reason being is so they can resolve financial matters between themselves without it being in the spotlight."

Prince Harry and Markle will be tying the knot on May 19 at St. George's Chapel in Winsor Castle. The place is small and can only accommodate 800 spectators.

According to a palace spokesperson, the couple is leading the planning of their royal wedding. As for their wedding guests, it is not ready yet. Thus, it is still uncertain if Barack Obama will be present.

"I don't know about that, we haven't even put the invite or the guest list together, who knows if he's going to be invited or not," Prince Harry told BBC Radio (via Fox News ). "I wouldn't want to ruin that surprise."
