Prince Harry Says ‘Life Has Changed Dramatically’ After L.A. Move With Meghan Markle
It’s been an emotional year full of plenty of upheaval for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and now, with the addition of the Coronavirus Pandemic that is plaguing the world, the Duke of Sussex is admitting that life has changed in ways no one had expected.
In a video to address what would have been the opening day of his Invictus Games, which have been postponed due to the Pandemic, the Duke of Sussex shared his regrets that the games had to be delayed, admitting in the process that things were difficult for everyone right now, and things have certainly changed in the last year since he was last able to commemorate the annual event.
“Life has changed dramatically for all of us since I was last in The Hague, but the IG2020 team has done an incredible job to adapt so quickly to the situation and they are busy putting plans in place for next year. The new dates will be shared with you very soon.”
The comment comes not too long after it was revealed that the Duke and his wife and son all moved to Los Angeles, after initially heading to Canada when they stepped back from their duties as members of the royal family.
In fact, not long after the move, the couple was reportedly having a hard time adjusting to their new normal because of the pandemic, which was making thins “incredibly hard.”
“They are practicing social distancing,” royal expert Katie Nicholl said at the time. “They are keeping in touch through social media, not actually seeing each other in person. This must be incredibly hard for Meghan, being so close to her mother, just a matter of miles away.”
