Prince Harry has been spotted wearing a traditional African bracelet with patterned markings for the past 20 years. In fact, he also wore the accessory on his wedding day to Meghan Markle on May 19.

During a previous interview, Prince Harry revealed that he has gotten attached to the bracelet because he got it after Princess Diana passed away on Aug. 31, 1997.

“I first came to Africa in 1997, which was after my mom died. My dad told my brother and me to pack our bags – we were going to Africa to get away from it all,” he said.

Prince William also owns a similar piece of the bracelet, according to Caitlyn Hitt, a journalist for Daily Mail.

In related news, the African patterned bracelet is not the only one that Prince Harry has been seen wearing. When he started dating Markle, the 33-year-old prince sported another beaded piece. Rumors swirled that the Duchess of Sussex also has a similar pair in blue, white, and black shades.

According to People, the Duke of Sussex bought the bracelet from Africa, and Markle has worn it since then. The publication also dubbed the accessory as “his and her bracelet.”

Meanwhile, the royal couple also made headlines this week after reports swirled that Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland, visited them in London this summer. The yoga instructor stayed with her daughter and son-in-law in Oxfordshire.

“The visit was totally under the radar. Doria supported Meghan throughout a lot of the ordeal with Thomas,” a source said (via Express).

During her trip, Express also reported that Ragland took up nannying lessons in preparation for the arrival of her first grandchild. Rumors claimed that Markle and Prince Harry are expecting a baby after the “Suits” alum appeared to have a growing baby bump during a public engagement.

However, Kensington Palace has not yet confirmed or denied whether Markle is indeed pregnant.
