Prince Harry’s shocking statement about kingship got Prince William and Prince Charles concerned.

The Prince of Wales and Duke of Cambridge are the heir apparent and second in line to the throne. Both will be king someday. Meanwhile, Prince Harry is way down the line of succession and is unlikely to take over the throne.

Meghan Markle’s husband made a statement that didn’t sound well for the future kings. Prince Harry’s “lack of filter” reportedly caused a concern to his brother and father.

“It doesn’t surprise me that William and Charles are concerned, the reason being that Harry has said in the Newsweek interview that if you are the heir to the throne, if you are going to be king, it’s cursed,” E! News correspondent Melanie Bromley said.

“It’s a terrible job, you’re in a terrible position, nobody would want that. That was definitely speaking out of turn. You’re basically saying, ‘Will’s fate is [explicit]’.”

Bromely explained that based on Prince Harry’s statement he was saying that there was a “terrible future” ahead of his father and brother because of the bigger role that awaits them. The reporter believed that it was something someone shouldn’t say to a future king. She is convinced that Prince Harry has “less filter” because he has less responsibility.

It was actually not the first time Prince Harry commented on the role of a monarch. When they were kids, Princess Diana’s former protection officer Ken Wharfe overheard him making a declaration while they were inside a car.

Prince Harry reportedly said that it was okay for him that he would not be king because that would mean that “I can do what I want.” The Duke of Cambridge “gleefully liked” the ackowledgment from his younger brother. Wharfe admitted that he found the two princes’ conversation funny.

In related news, Prince Harry and Markle broke the Queen’s mantra by participating in an ITV documentary where they became emotional. According to PR expert Mark Borkowski, the royal couple allows the intrusive lens into their lives, so they are out of control. He also reminded them that the royal family are publicly funded and the rules go out of the window.
