Prince Philip is rumored to be a borderline psychopath. But royal fans are convinced that this isn’t the case.

On the online forum site Quora, royal fans came to the Duke of Edinburgh’s defense by saying that he cannot possibly be considered a borderline psychopath even though he’s known for speaking his mind.

David Osofsky, a resident of the United Kingdom, said that the particular question about Prince Philip is one of the most offensive things he has ever seen on the site.

“Prince Philip may have an odd way of speaking that some take far more offense hearing about than the people to whom he was actually speaking, but this man is honest to a goodness war hero. To even attempt to compare this man to psychopathy in your question is such a shameful act you should crawl back into your troll hole and cower in your ignominy,” he said.

Alec Cawley said that Prince Philip is not a borderline psychopath because he has not shown any signs of psychopathy. The Duke of Edinburgh is just an old man who has been brought up several generations ago by an old-fashioned family.

“His attitudes would be advanced in 1900 and mainstream in 1920. He has tried to modernize, but not always as successfully as he might have done,” he said.

Colin Wright, a former student at Sunderland, said that there has been no proof or even a discussion that Prince Philip is a borderline psychopath. David Hirst said that since he’s not a trained mental health professional, he cannot comment on Prince Philip’s state of mind and everyone should stop trying to do so as well.

In related news, Prince Philip also made headlines this week after it was revealed that he was the one that convinced Prince William and Prince Harry to walk behind Princess Diana’s coffin.

Contrary to rumors, it was the Princess of Wales’ brother, Charles Spencer, that didn’t feel it was right for his nephews to be seen by the public in such a vulnerable situation back in 1997.
