Prince Philip will never listen to Queen Elizabeth II’s driving advice, claims a former royal chef.

Darren McGrady said that he couldn’t help but laugh upon hearing suggestions that Her Majesty should talk to her husband after he was pictured driving without a seatbelt just 48 hours after his accident.

On his Twitter account, the former royal staff’s suggestion will most likely fall on deaf ears since Prince Philip has a mind of his own, and he doesn’t just follow anyone’s suggestion.

“The Duke will do what he wants when he wants. Always has, always will,” he tweeted.

However, McGrady’s recent post didn’t sit well with some of his followers and critics. One person said that he would also do whatever he wants, but he will make it a point to follow the law and wear his seatbelt.

Prince Philip got into an accident last week, but he was able to get out of it unscathed. The two people in the other vehicle that he collided with suffered from bruises and a broken arm. After he was taken to the hospital, the 97-year-old reportedly declared that he was such a fool for what happened.

The retired royal was overheard telling police officers that he had been dazzled by the sun. However, it has also been revealed that he passed an eyesight test.

Meanwhile, another person slammed Prince Philip for still driving at his delicate age of 97. The person tweeted that no one is above the law, and Prince Philip should be held responsible for the accident that occurred. McGrady replied by saying that the Queen is above the law.

In related news, McGrady previously talked about his time working in the kitchens of Buckingham Palace. He said that the Queen and her husband couldn’t be more different when it came to mealtimes. Her Majesty is the type of person that eats to live, while Prince Philip lives to eat.

McGrady also worked at the Kensington Palace for Princess Diana and Prince Charles.
