Prince William can be playful too.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's engagement interview recently resurfaced, and during the chat, Prince William made a shocking confession about him and Kate Middleton and why they are compatible.

"She's got a really naughty sense of humour which really helps me because I've got a really dirty sense of humour so it was good fun, we had a really good laugh, and then things happened," Prince William told Tom Bradby (via Express).

Some viewers found Prince William's revelation funny. Many agreed that indeed, the second-in-line to the throne has a good sense of humor.

"William is like the perfect man. Handsome, smart, well educated, humble, with a great sense of humour (I can sense something a bit dark) and well...he's a Prince. What else can you ask for really! Lucky Kate!" one user commented.

During the same interview, the couple admitted that they had a short split prior to their wedding. Middleton was hurt and admitted that the breakup somehow helped her become stronger emotionally.

"I think I at the time wasn't very happy about it, but actually it made me a stronger person," Middleton said. "You find out things about yourself that maybe you hadn't realised. Or I think you can get quite consumed by a relationship when you are younger."

Middleton used their split as an opportunity to visit Ireland. The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted with her mom, Carole, in Dublin , a few weeks before the media was made aware of their split. The two got back together after three months.

The couple met at University of St. Andrews where they both attended college. Unlike the fairy tale stories, there first meeting was not romantic but somewhat funny.

"I actually went bright red when I met you and scuttled off feeling very shy about meeting you," Middleton told Prince William about their first meeting. "William wasn't there for quite a bit of the time initially, he wasn't there from Fresher's Week, so it did take a bit of time for us to get to know each other. But we did become very close friends from quite early on."

In Christopher Anderson's biography "William and Kate: A Royal Love Story," Middleton reportedly curtsied to Prince William during their first meeting. Unfortunately, this caused the duke to spill a drink on himself, which caused an embarrassed Middleton to scuttled off.
