Sarah Ferguson's opinion about Prince William and Kate Middleton was revisited.

The Duchess of York didn't receive an invite to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge royal wedding in 2011. However, after the event, she agreed to make an interview where she was asked for an advice for Middleton.

"What's interesting is that I would never presume to give Catherine advice because she's doing so well," Ferguson said (via Express). "She looks fabulous, she's beautiful and fabulous and they look so in love and it's a great story."

In the same interview, Ferguson revealed that Prince William and Middleton's wedding made her regret her poor choices. She admitted that she saw herself in Middleton.

"I was that bride and at 25-years-old I went down the aisle of Westminster Abbey," Ferguson said. "It caused me to have great soul searching on regret, on all the things, you look at."

Ferguson's relationship with the royals has slowly improved. In fact, she scored an invite to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding in May. In addition, she was spotted talking with Queen Elizabeth II on Ascot Day.

However, Prince Philip has reportedly not forgiven her yet. In fact, they are avoiding each other.

In August, Ferguson visited the Queen in Balmoral with Prince Andrew and their daughter Princess Beatrice. However, she made sure to leave the monarch's estate before Prince Philip arrived. There are speculations that their rift may cause a family friction at Princess Eugenie's royal wedding in October.

Ferguson's controversial photo with her financial advisor, John Bryan, caused the royals to be upset with her. In fact, some experts blamed it why her marriage with Prince Andrew ended in divorce.

"She was famously photographed with her financial advisor and she was wearing a bikini in some garden in the south of France and he appeared to be sucking her toes," royal biographer Penny Juror said in the documentary. "She was at Balmoral when those photographs came out. The family came down for breakfast and there was Fergie in this shocking scene and that was the end."
