Princess Diana reportedly once confronted Camilla Parker Bowles about her affair with Prince Charles.

According to Jessica Jayne's explosive tell-all book, "The Duchess of Cornwall: Camilla’s Story and Secrets," the women in the Prince of Wales' life met up a few times before Princess Diana and Prince Charles got married. However, eight years after, they apparently had a heated confrontation about the Duchess of Cornwall and the future king's secret relationship as at the time, the heir had just resumed his affair with Camilla.

The trio attended the same event, but something happened that urged the People's Princess to finally confront Camilla. "Charles and Camilla suddenly disappeared during the party, and Diana went to look for them," Andrew Morton wrote in Princess Diana's biography.

It turned out that Prince Charles and Camilla escaped downstairs to have a private conversation with another male friend. When Princess Diana found them, she told the two gentlemen: "OK boys, I’m just going to have a quick word with Camilla and I’ll be up in a minute."

When Princess Diana and Camilla were left alone, they apparently "shot upstairs like chickens with no heads."

"I could feel, upstairs, all hell breaking loose — 'What is she going to do?'" Princess Diana confessed.

During their conversation, Princess Diana reportedly told Camilla about her knowledge of her and Prince Charles' affair. "I know what's going on between you and Charles and I just want you to know that," she told the duchess.

"You've got everything you ever wanted. You've got all the men in the world fall in love with you and you've got two beautiful children, what more do you want?" Camilla responded.

"I want my husband," Princess Diana replied.

Princess Diana's former bodyguard, Ken Wharfe, previously confirmed that the late Princess of Wales was also aware of Prince Charles and Camilla's private phone conversations during holidays.

"It was sad in a sense for Diana of course because Camilla was always on the back of her mind," Wharfe said in "Robert Jobson's Royal Podcast." "At one point during this trip, Diana was aware that Charles was on the telephone to Camilla."

However, body language expert Judi James, has claimed that even before Prince Charles and Princess Diana wed, they already knew that their marriage wouldn't work. The Prince and late Princess of Wales were reportedly showing signs of anticipation that their marriage will end up in shambles even during their wedding day.
