Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank will have a carriage procession after their royal wedding, but it won't be as extravagant as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's.

According to Latifa Yedroudj, a journalist for Express, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's daughter will have a budget version of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's car procession. Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank's horse carriage will not be as elaborate as the royal wedding in May. In fact, it will only be half a mile long and is only equivalent to a 10-minute walk.

Prince Harry and Markle's carriage procession route spanned 1.5 miles long. It was three times longer than Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank's.

For the upcoming royal wedding next month, the bride and groom will travel by horse and carriage out of the castle grounds and turn right towards the High Street. They will continue for 200 meters and take a left turn to Park Street towards Long Walk before returning to Windsor Castle through the Cambridge Gate. Their wedding is not expected to have a big public turn out as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's.

In fact, Prince Andrew reportedly asked BBC to air Princess Eugenie's big day. However, the network refused because they believed that not enough people would watch it.

According to an insider, Princess Eugenie's wedding turns out to be bigger than expected because her family thinks that she deserves it. In fact, her nuptials will have a two-day celebration. The second day will feature a more relaxed festival theme.

In related news, the Duke and Duchess of York's soon-to-be son-in-law is not the most intelligent man, this is according to Brooksbank's grandmother. Joanna Newton, 91, had an interview with Mail Online and talked about her grandson. She admitted she didn't think that Brooksbank will end up with a royal bride.

"I never thought he would get married to a royal," Newton said (via Express). "He's a charming boy and all that but not the most intelligent and I would never have thought this would happen."

Although Brooksbank's not the wisest person for Newton, he is definitely a "good egg." She also praised Princess Eugenie's choice of being with her grandson.

"I think it says a lot about Eugenie that it’s him she wants and it’s lovely," she said.
