  • Fans predicted "Uncharted Lost Legacy" and "Watch Dogs 2" for PS Plus' June lineup
  • Leaks, however, suggested that "Star Wars Squadrons" will be included as next month's triple-A offer
  • Sony's official announcement is expected to come by the end of the month

Sony has made some amazing offers for its PS Plus subscription service in these past few months, and fans remain hopeful that June’s free games lineup will be just as stellar as the previous ones. The PS Plus community at Reddit is already placing their bets on what games are going to be coming next month, and many are wishing for their favorites to make an appearance.

The monthly prediction thread at r/PlayStationPlus is where the community places their educated guesses and lucky hunches together, and they always tend to predict at least a few games correctly. However, these are all just speculation and hypotheses based on market trends, so take them with a grain of salt.

This month saw “Battlefield V” as the highlight of PS Plus’ free games lineup along with “Wreckfest” and “Stranded Deep.” For June 2021, PS Plus subscribers are once again pining for a good triple-A game to go for free.

“Uncharted Lost Legacy” remains one of the most requested PS Plus games on the subreddit. It has been over a year since an “Uncharted” game went free on the subscription service, and it’s about time that another one becomes available for free considering it’s one of the PlayStation’s most iconic titles.

“Lost Legacy” is set sometime after the events of “Uncharted 4” and stars Chloe Frazer, a notable character from “Uncharted 2,” in place of Nathan Drake.

“Watch Dogs 2” is another highly-requested game simply due to the sheer fun factor. The game takes a stark shift in tonal direction when compared to the first “Watch Dogs,” turning the original game’s gritty revenge-driven plot into a more fun and chaotic experience. “Watch Dogs 2” retains the emphasis on hacking but with a more open-minded approach to the world.

Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that these two games will be featured in June’s free PS Plus games, if recent leaks are to be believed. Spanish website Areajugones recently teased that “Star Wars Squadrons” will be the triple-A game offering next month, along with “Virtua Fighter 5” and “Operation Tango.”

These aren’t official declarations, but the website has a penchant for providing accurate leaks.

Sony is expected to announce the official lineup of games later this week.
