Queen Elizabeth II attended a church service with her favorite royal, Sophie, Countess of Wessex.

On Sunday, the Queen was spotted arriving at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham. Her Majesty was stunning in her dark green outfit with a matching hat and brooch.

The Queen was joined by the Earl and Countess of Wessex as well as their children Lady Louis Windsor and James, Viscount Severn, Express reported. The family is expected to remain in Norfolk with the Queen for the next few days since they will be spending Christmas Day at Sandringham House with other senior royals.

On Friday, the monarch was spotted arriving at King’s Cross station. She was photographed looking down amid reports that her husband has been hospitalized.

However, royal fans should not be worried about the Duke of Edinburgh since he is fine. He did not travel by ambulance and his admission was actually planned and not some sort of an emergency case.

“It was a planned admission, and he walked into the hospital unaided,” a source told People.

Aside from the Wessexes, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles, as well as Prince William and Kate Middleton are also expected to spend the holidays with the Queen. However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced earlier that they would be spending Christmas away from the royal family.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are in Canada and are expected to spend their holidays there. The couple reportedly wanted to make the event extra special because it is their son Archie’s first Christmas.

According to an insider, among the reasons Prince Harry and Markle opted to be away from the royal family is their rumored feud with Prince William. For months, there have been rumors that Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s sons have a beef due to the former “Suits” star.

Sir Rod Stewart did not like the Sussexes’ decision. According to him, Prince Harry and Markle were being inconsiderate of the monarch’s age. Also, they didn’t consider how many Christmases the Queen has left considering that she is already 93.
