Queen Elizabeth II might abdicate while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might announce their second pregnancy.

Many believe that the Queen will never abdicate. However, following the biggest controversy the royal family is facing, some are having second thoughts about Queen Elizabeth II’s position.

Few are now convinced that the monarch might step down. British bookmaker Coral has slashed the odds of the Queen stepping down in 2020 to 5/1.

“We've cut the odds on the Queen abdicating this year off the back of what has been a turbulent start to the New Year for the Royal Family,” Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said. “There is definitely a much greater chance that they begin to go in a different direction in 2020.”

The bookmakers also believe that Prince Harry and Markle might announce their second pregnancy this year. There have been talks that the royal family might welcome four royal babies from Markle, Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice and Kate Middleton.

“We are almost certainly going to see some more new children over the next few years, with Beatrice and Eugenie potentially likely to start families in the near future. However we make Harry and Meghan the most likely to announce a pregnancy this year, at just evens in our book,” Aitkenhead added.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Canada House after returning to the U.K. They did it to personally thank Canada’s High Commissioner Janice Charette to thank her for the warm welcome they received in the country.

Markle sparked pregnancy rumors during the outing because she was spotted covering her tummy with her coat. The duchess did the same when she and Prince Harry arrived in Sydney. Markle was seen covering her belly with a purple folder before announcing her first pregnancy.

Last week, Prince Harry and Markle shocked the palace and the world after announcing that they are quitting as senior members of the royal family. Queen Elizabeth II was reportedly disappointed and furious because the royal couple did not consult them before dropping the big news.
