Queen Elizabeth II continues to face different problems as the head of the British monarchy.

The Queen vowed to serve until her last breath. Due to her obligations, the monarch still encounter major problems despite her age. The Queen considered 1992 as her “annus horribis” due to the different problems that plagued her that year including her children’s divorces and the Windsor fire, Express reported.

This year she is facing three major royal nightmares involving three senior royals. Check out the list below.

Prince Andrew’s scandal

The Duke of York has been dragged to a number of controversies due to his connection to Jeffrey Epstein, who was arrested on multiple sex trafficking-related charges. Johanna Sjoberg claimed that Prince Andrew groped her breasts.

The issue linking Prince Andrew to Epstein has continued. Royal expert Marlene Koenig encouraged Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth II to help the Duke of York deal with the issue. She also called out Prince Andrew to give up his patronage and live a quiet life.

“It is time for queen and Charles to sit down with Andrew and strongly suggest that he give up his patronages . Let his daughters take over a selection. He has a trust fund. Live quietly out of the public eye,” Koenig wrote on Twitter.

Netizens agreed with Koenig. One said that it’s time for the royals to take actions because the controversy has “moved from embarrassment to sheer horror.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s PR calamities

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also giving the Queen challenges due to their lifestyle. The public were furious after learning that the taxpayers’ money was used to fund the couple’s home, but Prince Harry and Markle are trying to live as if they are private individuals. The couple has kept baby Archie’s detail from the public.

Prince Harry and Markle found themselves in hot water again for taking four private fights in 11 days while campaigning for the environment. The Queen is reportedly “baffled” by the Sussexes’ PR calamities.

Brexit

Meanwhile, according to The New York Times, Prime Minister Boris Johnson dragged Queen Elizabeth II into the Brexit quagmire. Johnson misled the public and unlawfully advised Queen Elizabeth II on a suspension of parliament. A Supreme Court hearing is set next week and hanging in the balance is Johnson’s leadership and the Queen’s delicate arrangement that kept the monarch out of politics for so long.
