“Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12 star Kenya Moore is looking forward to the future and is considering having another baby. News of the Bravo cast member’s baby plans comes nearly two months after she announced her split from husband, Marc Daly.

Kenya and Daly welcomed a daughter, Brooklyn in November 2018. During a recent interview, the “RHOA” star admitted she wanted to give her baby girl a sibling but wouldn’t be able to carry another child.

Kenya told US Weekly that she is considering having another child, but the baby would have to be born via surrogate. “I didn’t need to consider [surrogacy the first] time,” the 48-year-old explained.

“But now that I’ve had complications after giving birth, it’s probably the only way I could carry, have a child again.”

During Kenya’s pregnancy with Brooklyn, she suffered from preeclampsia and gave birth to her daughter earlier than her expected due date.

The former beauty queen revealed she thought it was important to give Brooklyn a sibling. “Brooklyn loves other kids,” Kenya said.

“I would like for her to have a playmate and someone who is like her confidant and close [friend], and I want that for her. I just don’t know [when].”

In September, Kenya announced her decision to end her marriage to Daly. “It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband. Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage,” she said in a statement at the time.

“My sole concern and focus is and will always be my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby. She was made in love and true commitment. I ask for our privacy to be respected moving forward.”

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
