Released Surveillance Photo May Help Solve The Death Of New Hampshire Couple
Authorities are looking to identify two individuals who were last seen driving their truck into New Mexico.
This came after the the death of two campers whose bodies were found buried on a beach near Corpus Cristi on November 1.
James Butler, 48, and his wife, Michelle Butler, 46, were positively identified by a Kleberg County Sheriff's Office deputy as the corpses he had discovered in a shallow grave on Padre Island on October 27, said NBC Boston.

The deputy first discovered Michelle's body and later found James' remains under hers. Their deaths were then ruled as homicide by a Nueces County medical examiner, according to NBC News.
James and Michelle were last known to have set up camp with their truck and RV trailer on the aforementioned location on October 15. Relatives of the Rumney, New Hampshire, couple reported them missing on October 23 after they failed to communicate with them.
Following the discovery of their bodies, James' sister, Deborah Lyn van Loon was told by authorities that they have “acquired footage” that her brother's RV was seen entering Mexico. Unfortunately, it wasn't James that was driving the vehicle.

The surveillance photo, which was released by officials Monday, pointed to an unidentified man and a woman in a vehicle. Kleberg County District Attorney John Hubert told NBC News that the police wanted to talk to them “for background in the investigation.”
However, Hubert explained that they “just don't have enough evidence” to claim that the pair are involved in the murder, nor did they disclose the fact that the people in the photo were indeed driving the truck owned by the Butler's.
Furthermore, the legal practitioner said that it wasn't clear on how the persons in the surveillance photo have, in any way, “came into contact with the Butlers,” although he was keen when he said they are likely to be Corpus Cristi locals.

To fast-track the progress, Hubert said that local officials are working with Mexican authorities but he has yet to divulge any important details on the investigation. The same can be said when Hubert simply said that there are “many” possible motives, but refused to speculate further.
Van Loon expressed that James, a Navy veteran, wanted to ride his RV full-time together with his wife. They were making their way to Florida when they decided to stop in Texas.
