The Republican National Committee (RNC) will promote Donald Trump Jr.’s new book “Liberal Privilege” as part of a fundraising campaign. The book will be offered to donors who contribute at least $75.

The RNC will purchase the book on a rolling basis, procuring copies at a below-retail price. He will self-publish the book in August, to coincide with the Republican National Convention in August.

The RNC was criticized for promoting Trump’s previous book “Triggered.” The Committee spent over $100,000 on the title as part of a fundraising campaign, with critics accusing the RNC of manipulating sales of the book in order to boost its spot on the New York Times bestseller list.

“While I was offered a generous book deal by my previous publishers, I turned it down and decided to self-publish,” Trump Jr. said in a statement. “The RNC was able to raise almost a million dollars from their fundraising campaign with my first book, ‘Triggered.’ I look forward to helping them fundraise once again for the benefit of the Republican Party.”

Since Trump Jr. is self-publishing the book, he will not receive an advance. The book will target presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden and his family.

Trump Jr. has been an outspoken advocate for his father, railing against the Special Counsel investigation into Russian interference as well as perceived liberal political correctness. He has also pushed conspiracy theories about Hillary Clinton.

Trump Jr., 42, is currently dating former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle. In July, Guilfoyle, 51, tested positive for COVID-19.
