"Re: Zero - Starting Life In Another World's official website released the synopsis, spoilers stills and preview trailer for Season 2's Episode 12 hinting Subaru’s next move as he meets Echidna.

Subaru wakes up in the graveyard and sees Emilia. He renews his determination to neutralize all threats that might hit Emilia, the Sanctuary and Roswaal’s Mansion. Subaru vows to save everyone.

Meanwhile, Roswaal is ready to use Subaru’s power to force him to start over in order to achieve his true purpose. Later, in "Re:Zero - Starting Life In Another World" Season 2, Episode 12, Subaru meets Echidna and the other witches as he looks for answers.

In the last episode, Subaru meets Beatrice in the forbidden library of Roswaal's Mansion. Beatrice reveals the book of gospel stopped showing her the future. Later, Elsa interrupts their meeting and tries to kill Beatrice and Subaru.

He manages to escape the mansion with Beatrice but the duo is stopped by Elsa and Maylie Portroute. Toward the end of the episode, Roswaal shows his true nature and tells Subaru that he holds the second book of the gospel. Episode 11 turns out to be one of the most glorifying episodes of the current arc as Subaru witnesses Garfiel and Ram’s brutal annihilation.
