  • Mama June won’t be pleased to know Pumpkin’s next legal move
  • The season finale will feature the mother and daughter’s battle in court

“Mama June: Road to Redemption” Season 6 will come to a conclusion this Friday, but things are about to heat up between Mama June Shannon and her daughter Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon as they continue to battle it out over custody of Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson.

The teaser trailer released by the official Twitter account of the reality series showed Mama June, 42, getting angry upon learning that Pumpkin, 22, wants child support for her younger sister, Alana. Pumpkin already has custody of the 16-year-old, but she has asked their mom for financial support for the teen.

“Once we get the judge to sign off full custody, we can go after mama for child support,” Pumpkin said in a confessional, as seen in the trailer.

Mama June’s reaction to her daughter’s legal move was shown toward the end of the video, and she appeared to be furious over the news.

“This is some bulls—t, Pumpkin asking for child support,” an irate Mama June said.

The trailer then jumped to a scene showing Pumpkin saying she’s willing to fight her mom in court if that’s what the latter wanted.

“You want a fight? Let’s fight. I don’t really give a f—k anymore,” Pumpkin calmly said.

The finale will take fans to the tension-filled moments between Mama June and Pumpkin when they fought in court for custody of Alana. Season 6 was filmed months ago. In June, Pumpkin was granted by the judge sole physical custody over her younger sister.

The battle for child support, which will be featured in the finale, also ended in Pumpkin’s favor. The court decided last month that Mama June should pay $800 monthly in child support until Honey Boo Boo turns 18.

Ahead of the finale, a snippet showed Alana’s biological dad, Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson, shedding tears when he got asked by Pumpkin’s husband, Josh Efird, to sign Honey Boo Boo’s custody papers.

From the looks of things, the season finale is going to be an emotional ride. Aside from the legal battle, the family will also have to deal with Pumpkin’s surprise pregnancy announcement from last week’s episode.

Catch the finale of “Mama June: Road to Redemption” Season 6 Friday at 9 p.m. EDT on We TV.
