Robert Downey Jr. is celebrating the success of his newly-produced Netflix series, "Sweet Tooth."

The Netflix original that released on June 4 received positive reactions on social media and marked Downey Jr.'s successful launch as a producer. The adventure drama series revolves around the post-apocalyptic time and how a half-human and half-deer boy is born.

The 56-year-old actor took to Instagram on Sunday to share a doodle based on the same theme. "If we've learned anything at Team Downey it's that the future is hybrid…#SweetTooth," he captioned the photos.

In the first doodle, the actor posed with his wife, Susan Downey, near a deer signboard. The couple donned a similar outfit that Gus, portrayed by Christian Convery, wore in the series while finding his mother.

In the second doodle, the 47-year-old film producer stepped on the back of the "Iron Man" star as he bent down. The actor could be seen holding the same doggy toy that Gus carries around in the series.

In the last photo, the couple's real picture was edited with deer horns and ears. It has a title that reads, "Hybrids 4 Life."

Fans shared their love and support for the series. One person wrote, "SweetTooth is such a good series!! I love it I need a season 2!" another fan commented, "Especially after that ending!!"

Besides Convery, the Netflix original also stars Nonso Anozie, James Brolin, Will Forte, Aliza Vellani, Adeel Akhtar and Amy Seimetz.

The actor took to Twitter on June 11 to thank fans for the amazing response.

"It's been incredibly special to watch your responses to @SweetTooth pour in," he wrote. "This show means so much to me and Susan. As @JeffLemire said - Stories of hope in the midst of darkness are the stories we need now, more than ever. #SweetTooth."

Downey Jr. will be next seen in "Sherlock Holmes 3," which is slated to release on Dec. 22. He will also feature in "Black Widow," which is scheduled for a July release.
