  • "GTA 6" is rumored to be in development
  • Rockstar Games has not yet confirmed that it is working on the sequel to "GTA 5"
  • A new rumor claims that "GTA 6" might be announced very soon

Countless rumors about "GTA 6" have been making rounds for several years, but a recently spotted job listing by Rockstar Games triggered speculations that it could finally be preparing for the heavily anticipated game's trailer.

On the gaming studio's official Careers page, it has posted that it is currently looking for a Cinematic Gameplay Capture Artist. Based on the job description provided, the lucky applicant would be "responsible for shooting in-game footage for use in online and TV campaigns." It also notes that the chosen candidate will "work with the video editing and trailer teams to produce outstanding videos using exclusively in-game shots."

Simply put, the gaming studio is looking for someone who would be responsible for marketing or advertising current or new games. The job listing neither mentions "GTA 6" nor makes any references to the game, but rumors about its possible announcement and an accompanying trailer have recently surfaced online, citing the said job listing.

"The fact that Rockstar is looking for this type of position may finally mean some actual, official content will soon be revealed," Gamerant speculates. Not much is revealed about any Rockstar Games in the job ad. Interestingly, the qualifications section of the job post mentions that it would be released on PS5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

The job posting could be about a new IP or another game, or it could really be referring to "GTA 6." How old this job post is and what kind of game the chosen candidate would be working on remain unknown. But with rumors claiming that the gaming studio is working on the sequel to "Grand Theft Auto 5," fans are hoping that the job listing is indeed for the game.

However, in the absence of official confirmation or announcement from Rockstar Games, fans are advised to temper their expectations and take this information with a pinch of salt. As of writing, Rockstar Games has not confirmed or denied that it is working on "GTA 6." The gaming studio has also remained mum on the job ad.
