The Seoul-based tech and electronics giant is now preparing the Samsung Galaxy S11 to be a powerful flagship device. Samsung already announced a new and powerful processor that will be housed by its next-generation flagship smartphone. This is the company’s preparation for the imminent launch of the Huawei P40 and Apple’s iPhone 12.

Apple and Huawei are two of the biggest rivals of Samsung in the smartphone industry, and consumers are now anticipating what these brands will have for the next year. Thanks to the company’s announcement during its most recent Samsung tech Day 2019, we might have the idea of what Samsung is preparing for the Galaxy S11. The Seoul-based tech giant announced the Exynos 990 chip along with the latest Exynos Modem 5123.

These two tech components are intended to work hand in hand to empower next-generation mobile devices with unparalleled efficiency and performance, which could mean these two will be inside the Samsung Galaxy S11. The latest Samsung mobile processor utilizes a premium GPU designed to enhance battery efficiency, graphics, and overall performance of the smartphone by up to 20 percent. Interestingly, the latest chip from Samsung is especially significant when it comes to gaming.

It is highly likely that Samsung is preparing the Galaxy S11 so it could accommodate next-generation mobile games. Moreover, the Exynos 990 is made to work with the Exynos Modem 5123, which is designed to make the most of 5G smartphones. Samsung is taking the lead in manufacturing smartphones with 5G connectivity, and this bold step would mean that it is already advancing in terms of next-generation network connectivity in the smartphone.

If both chips will be inside Samsung Galaxy S11, the upcoming series may all be equipped with 5G connectivity instead of premium models. For now, it is not confirmed if the Samsung Galaxy S11 will house the Exynos 990 and the Exynos 5123 modem. But, if Samsung would like to lead the industry, these are just some of the ideal possibilities that it could equip its next series of flagship handsets. Apple and Huawei will also ensure that they have an advantage over other brands but with Samsung already the first one to introduce 5G supported smartphones, it could very well take advantage of it.
