  • The video hints at five new devices coming soon
  • The devices will be unveiled next month

Samsung is giving a teaser of what it plans to unveil during the Unpacked 2020 event scheduled for next month.

In a YouTube video, the South Korean tech giant announced that it will be hosting “A Whole New Galaxy Unpacked” event featuring “exclusive access to untold stories from developers, designers [and] innovators [from] inside Samsung Digital City,” which the company calls “The Heart of Samsung.”

It didn't specify what kind of event Unpacked 2020 will be, but it's easy to understand based on the current circumstances that it will be an online-only event that can be viewed via streaming. The company, however, teased what's about to be shown during the event.

Based on the image below, which can be seen at the 0:25 mark in the video, Samsung plans to unveil a slew of new devices, including a smartphone, foldable smartphone, tablet, smartwatch and what appears to be a pair of wireless earbuds in a case.

These devices are likely what many fans have been talking about lately: the new Galaxy Note 20 series, the Galaxy Fold 2, the Galaxy Tab S7, the Galaxy Watch 3 and the Galaxy Buds Live.

Previous reports indicated that the top-tier Galaxy Note 20 Ultra could be the first handset to feature Corning's latest Gorilla Glass Victus technology. Reports also said the handset might be the first Xbox phone allowing users to stream Xbox games on the device using xCloud. It may also feature an upgraded chip and a revamped S Pen.

The Galaxy Fold 2, on the other hand, is expected to feature a better look, with a wider display on the outside and a foldable display with thinner bezels on the inside. Reports indicated that Samsung may sell the second-gen Galaxy Fold for the same price as its predecessor.

The Galaxy Tab S7 will succeed the Galaxy Tab S6 and will have better features than its predecessor, including an enhanced S Pen like that of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

The Galaxy Watch 3 is expected to offer significantly better features compared to the first Galaxy Watch, including some of the best from the Galaxy Watch Active 2.

The Galaxy Buds Live will be bean-shaped earbuds that have active noise-canceling features, among many others. It is seen as a direct competitor to Apple's AirPods Pro.

Samsung will be hosting the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event on Aug. 5. Those who want to watch it can do so live via www.samsung.com.
