Megan Hilty and Noah Mills bring Santa’s workshop to life in “Santa’s Boots.” Lifetime

“Smash” alum Megan Hilty and star of NBC’s upcoming “The Enemy Within” series, Noah Mills, lead the cast of Lifetime’s “Santa’s Boots.” The new Christmas movie premieres Saturday night.

“When Holly (Hilty) returns home for Christmas expecting the same as any other year, she’s blindsided to learn her family’s department store is on the brink of foreclosure,” the synopsis reveals. “To keep the business going, Holly fills in as Santa’s Helper and meets the surprisingly young and handsome Nick (Mills), who has been hired to play Santa at the store this year.”

The two have immediate chemistry and are able to draw in some big crowds; Until Nick suddenly disappears, that is. As the holiday gets closer, Holly works to find Nick, using the only clue she has: his misplaced black boot.

Andrea Brooks, who’s often seen over on Hallmark Channel in both movies and shows, also stars in this Christmas flick. She plays the role of Jenny, which she told International Business Times was a different kind of character for her.

“That was a fun character for me because she’s a little bit more of a tomboy, which is sort of a stretch — it might actually be my first tomboy,” Brooks told IBT, before revealing some details about her character’s storyline. “She had a romance and things are kind of falling apart a little bit, and she’s trying to kind of decide if she needs to rekindle an old flame or let things go. So, Jenny has a quite a transition in this movie and, of course, it’s all done over the holiday season.”

Shawn Tolleson directed the movie from a script written by Shannon Phipps and himself.

Check it all out when “Santa’s Boots” debuts on Lifetime on Saturday at 8 p.m. EST.
