Proving superheroes are just like us, Kara (Melissa Benoist), aka Supergirl, celebrates another Thanksgiving with her friends and family during Sunday’s new episode of “Supergirl” on The CW.

Titled “Call to Action,” episode 6 of Season 4 features a televised debate between Ben Lockwood (Sam Witwer) and Kara about the growing anti-alien sentiment throughout National City. Everyone comes together to celebrate Thanksgiving, but Kara’s in low spirits after the debate.

“Meanwhile, James (Mehcad Brooks) and Lena (Katie McGrath) argue about the best way to handle the Children of Liberty,” according to the synopsis.

With this being a holiday episode, though, star Andrea Brooks (Eve Teschmacher) told International Business Times that it’s one of the upcoming episodes that she’s most looking forward to everyone seeing. Fans got to see her character work with Lena, as well as with Kara, a few episodes ago, and she revealed that that was just the beginning.

“It’s just been really fun to see the Teschmacher-Lena Luthor dynamics play out, and there’s going to be a lot more of that to come,” she told IBT.

To boot, the Yale graduate will finally be putting more of her nuclear physics background to use. Her responsibilities as Lena’s assistant are going to start to include a bit more science.

“You’re gonna see her in action a little bit, which has been so cool,” Brooks said. “So, she’s not bringing everyone their coffee anymore; she’s moved up the ranks finally. She’s putting her Yale degree to use, which I am so happy about. You’re gonna see her in action with Lena.”

Enjoy the Danvers Family Thanksgiving when Season 4, episode 6 of “Supergirl” airs on The CW on Sunday at 8 p.m. EST.
