Is the fifth time the charm? Saoirse Ronan fans hope so. They’re already campaigning for her to get an Oscar nomination after just seeing the trailer for her new movie “Ammonite.”

On Tuesday, film distributor Neon released the first trailer for the film, which follows two women (Ronan and Kate Winslet) in 1840s England as they develop an intense romance. Charlotte (Ronan) is sent to fossil hunter Mary Anning (Kate Winslet) for help recovering from an illness. Mary needs the money, so she takes in the wealthy housewife. They don’t get along initially, but their bond quickly grows deeper.

The Ronan army immediately took to social media to launch Ronan’s Academy Awards campaign.

Saoirse Ronan became one of the youngest Oscar nominees ever at age 13 in 2008 for the period drama “Atonement.” That remains her only nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She was nominated for Best Actress three times for “Brooklyn” in 2016 (when she became the second-youngest actress with two nods), “Lady Bird” in 2018 (when she became the second-youngest actress with three nods), and “Little Women” earlier this year.

If she scores her fifth nomination for “Ammonite,” the 26-year-old actress will be the youngest to hit the milestone. Her co-star Kate Winslet actually holds the record currently, being 31 when she received her fifth nomination, Gold Derby reports.

Fans will have to wait a while to find out if Ronan will be a five-time Academy Award nominee. With the 2021 ceremony pushed back to April 25, Oscar nominations won’t be announced until March 15, 2021.

“Ammonite” is written and directed by Francis Lee and also stars Gemma Jones, James McArdle, Alec Secareanu and Fiona Shaw.

“Ammonite” is set to release in theaters on Nov. 13.
