Princess Diana would have loved Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, according to Sarah Ferguson.

Ferguson recently shared her thoughts regardingwhat the late Princess of Wales would think of her daughters-in-law. According to the Duchess of York, Princess Diana would be proud of the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex.

"I honestly think she'd be so proud of the wonderful Meghan and Katherine and embrace them and say 'you're doing so well,'" Ferguson said on "Good Morning Britain" (via Express).

However, another one of Princess Diana's friends, Simone Simmons, had a different opinion about Middleton and Markle. The psychic claimed that Princess Diana spoke from the grave and told her that Markle is not Prince Harry's ideal woman.

"Harry’s had other girlfriends in the past, but the one testing point would be whoever it was would be able to hold him up and keep him afloat," Simmons said. "[Diana] thought one of them was a very good match but obviously it didn’t work."

While Princess Diana was reportedly rooting for one of Prince Harry's exes, the People's Princess was happy for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, according to the medium. Middleton apparently had Princess Diana's approval.

"But she's more than happy with Kate. Perfect," Simmons added.

In Ferguson's recent interview, she also shared some advice she would give to her daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice after being asked if she and Princess Diana were the "guinea pigs" of the royal family.

"I often say to my girls I've been there I've made the mistakes and they know what not to do, which is really cool actually," Ferguson said. "So the best thing, all I can say actually, to anyone or if I was talking to myself or to my girls is be who you are."

"They’re going to go and write things, say things, everybody is going to say things. Fifty percent of the people like you fifty percent don’t so get on and do what you fee, stand firm with integrity and kindness and be lovely to everybody and remember someone who opens the car door for you, remember the name of the people in the kitchen who cook the dinner," she continued.

Princess Diana and Ferguson were very close when the former was alive. In fact, they reportedly had a divorce pact. However, their friendship had a fallout. The two stopped talking a year before Princess Diana's tragic accident.
