Lifetime's "The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story" will premiere on Monday, Sept. 1. Lifetime

Get ready to bask in early '90s drama. Lifetime has released the official trailer video for their upcoming movie, “The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story.”

The flick, which will air on the network on Monday, Sept. 1, is based off of actor Dustin Diamond’s juicy tell-all, “Behind the Bell.” Diamond, who played Screech in the NBC teen series, released the memoir in 2009. The book gained national attention for the “behind-the-scenes story of the cast and crew’s extreme lifestyle: sex, drugs and wild parties.” However, the claims made in the book were refuted by Diamond’s co-stars.

Lifetime’s “Saved by the Bell” movie will tell the tale about the “experiences of six unknown young actors placed in the Hollywood spotlight, exposing the challenges of growing up under public scrutiny while trying to maintain the squeaky clean image of their popular characters both on and off-screen.” The original sitcom starred Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Elizabeth Berkley, Lark Voorhies and Diamond. Lifetime enlisted Robin Lippin, the original “Saved by the Bell” casting director, to bring fresh blood to the movie. “The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story” will star Dylan Everett as Gosselaar/ Zack Morris, Sam Kindseth as Diamond/ Screech, Julian Works as Lopez/ A.C. Slater, Alyssa Lynch as Thiessen/ Kelly Kapowski, Tiera Zkovbye as Berkley/ Jessie Sapano, and Taylor Russell McKenzie as Voorhies/ Lisa Turtle.
