A 14-year-old girl in India was abducted and gangraped by her classmates, and when a school principal turned up at the scene hearing her cries, he raped her, too, reports said.

The unidentified minor girl from the eastern Indian state of Bihar was gangraped by the boys, all aged between 13 to 15 years. The classmates kidnapped the teen when she stepped out of her house Saturday evening. The minor boys then dragged the girl into a vehicle parked in a secluded place and raped her, The Times of India reported.

According to reports, Surendra Bhaskar, principal of a middle school, noticed the minor boys taking the girl into the secluded area and followed them. When the girl cried for help, Bhaskar reached the spot, and the minor boys fled the scene. However, instead of helping the girl, Bhaskar sexually assaulted her, news outlet The Telegraph Online reported.

After the alleged assault, Bhaskar took the girl to her house and dropped her off with her parents, claiming that he rescued her from the perpetrators. However, the incident came to light after the victim shared the entire ordeal with her mother.

The victim's family approached the police and the officials arrested Bhaskar along with the four minor boys in connection with the incident.

The boys will be produced before the juvenile justice board, according to reports. The girl is currently undergoing treatment for her injuries. Her statement will be recorded before a magistrate, police said.

In a similar incident earlier this month, a 13-year-old girl in the eastern Indian state of Assam was allegedly gangraped by 6 minor boys who break-entered her house while she was alone. The suspects sexually assaulted the victim and recorded the videos on the phone. The girl initially did not reveal her ordeal as the suspects threatened to leak her video.

However, after the girl revealed her ordeal with her mother, the suspects, aged between 13 years and 15 years, were arrested. Investigators also recovered the video evidence of the assault.
