Since airing its final episode in 2010, "Scrubs" has continued to maintain a loyal fanbase. Now, Zach Braff and Donald Faison, who starred as Dr. John "J.D." Dorian and Dr. Christopher Turk, respectively, on the comedy, are working together once again. This time, the two actors will appear on a new podcast called "Fake Doctors, Real Friends with Zach + Donald" as a way to reflect on the sitcom.

According to People, the project will showcase the two friends as they take "a very detailed walk down memory lane." As for how intense the examination of "Scrubs" will be, the podcast will be taking a look at all 182 episodes week by week. To start things off, the first episode released Tuesday revolved around their initial casting and what took place during the pilot.

Braff first hinted at the idea of taking on such a project in February, when he tweeted a photo of him and Faison asking if they should, in fact, create a rewatch podcast for the series. His tweet can be seen below.

"Each week we’ll tell behind the scenes stories, share experiences from our friendship and have lots of special guests. We’ll also be taking live fan questions over the phone. We can’t wait to laugh with our 'Scrubs' family," Braff said in a statement, according to The Hollywood Reporter

Faison then elaborated on the aforementioned sentiment, saying that "it's going to be a lot of fun, and I can't wait to talk to you all about such an important and amazing time in our lives."

However, the two former co-stars have not physically been in the same location while taping the episodes due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19. Therefore, they have been recording their parts separately in their own homes during the coronavirus pandemic.

The first episode of "Fake Doctors, Real Friends with Zach + Donald" is now available on the iHeartRadio website. A new episode is scheduled to release every Tuesday.
