Selena Quintanilla's sister spoke about her Hollywood Walk of Fame.

It's been over two decades since Selena's death. The late singer will be immortalized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contributions to music. Her sister, Suzette Quintanilla, is very happy for the recognition that the Queen of Tejano music received.

"It's been a long time coming," Suzette told Entertainment Tonight on Thursday. "I can't believe the day is finally here. Yikes!"

Aside from the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Nov. 3. was also proclaimed as the official "Selena Day" in Los Angeles. "I'm a little bit emotional, but more so, excited that this is happening and that there will be a place where Selena will be recognized as an artist," Suzette added. "And, what better place than to have her star in front of the Capitol Records building. It's a full circle moment for me."

Selena's sister is convinced that she's a role model for the youth. In fact, Suzette feels that the "Como la Flor" singer represents everyone.

"I think she represents us as a whole, as Hispanics and Latinos. But, I think she's also, beyond that, she's multicultural," Suzette said. "People from different backgrounds have embraced her as an artist. So, I think that everyone is going to be very happy celebrating this epic moment with us."

In October, Suzette announced on Instagram that her late sister, Selena, will receive a posthumous star on Hollywood Walk of Fame. In her caption, she explained that the Quintanilla family has been looking forward to this day and finally it has become a reality. She also hopes that more will be inspired by Selena's life.

Eva Longoria also received her dreamed star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and she was pleased to have received the recognition in the same year as Selena does because the "Dreaming of You" singer is her idol and inspiration.

"She was the reason I even dared to dream that a better life was possible. And that that life didn't have to distance you from where you came from," the "Desperate Housewives" star wrote on Instagram. So many people become famous and leave a place without ever crediting it with the role it played in shaping their lives. Selena was proud of being from Corpus Christi, Texas. And that made me proud to be from Corpus.
