Actor Seth Rogen announced on Monday that his cannabis company, Houseplant, is finally up and running in the U.S., which is something he’s wanted for the past 10 years. The company will soon start servicing California, where recreational marijuana is legal.

The “Superbad” actor's company is also a lifestyle brand. Houseplant, which launched in Canada in 2019, will be selling different strains as well as accessories. He shared his excitement and even a look inside what customers can expect on his Twitter and Instagram.

Each one of the strains Houseplant has up for sale has been smoked by Rogen himself, so customers know it’s up to a great standard. The "Future Man" executive producer is widely known as one of Hollywood's biggest stoners, and like all his greatest projects, he is collaborating with business partner Evan Goldberg, who is also a co-founder. Michael Mohr, James Weaver, and Alex McAtee are also part of the team who founded the brand.

Rogen explained that each strand is named after a different weather system, similar to the weed in “Pineapple Express.” The 38-year-old shared a photo of their Pancake Ice sativa, which is over 33% THC, something he says he smokes daily.

Another sativa, called Diablo Wind, and one indica, labeled Pink Moon, will be the initial launch strains, according to a press release.

Fans of the actor (and weed) have been sharing their excitement over social media since he first shared the news and can’t wait to test it out.

Rogen's Houseplant cannabis products, as well as home goods like table lighters, ashtrays and more, will be available for purchase in California starting next week. Customers will order online and it’ll be delivered for now. Houseplant is expected to start rolling out in California dispensaries later this spring.
