‘Shades of Blue’
Is Harlee Santos (Jennifer Lopez) really loyal to James Nava (Gino Anthony Pesi, not pictured) in “Shades of Blue” Season 2? NBC

Jennifer Lopez recently shared a creepy-looking photo from the set of “Shades of Blue” Season 2.

On her Instagram account, the 47-year-old actress posted a snap of Harlee Santos staring at a distance. Her eyes are wide open, and there’s a stern look on her face. As Lopez previously hinted, it looks like something’s coming after her character, and whatever it is will scare Harlee.

Unfortunately, details about the photo, as well as the hit NBC TV series, won’t be unveiled until next year. Even the actress herself is urging her fans to “just wait” for the premiere on Feb. 5, 2017.

Meanwhile, Lopez is very proud of her new show on NBC. While speaking with Deadline back in June, the actress said that she was drawn to the story of “Shades of Blue” because it’s not only a cop show; it’s also about human nature. “It’s about people; it’s about what they would do when put to the test on certain things, how you can be a good person and really do f----- up things. And we do all the time,” she said.

Lopez, who is also a producer of the show, admitted that she wasn’t supposed to play the lead role. However, when she pitched the story NBC, representatives from the network asked her to do it. Lopez recounted how Bob Greenblatt, chairman of NBC, urged her to play Harlee. “Bob Greenblatt said to me, ‘You play this role, we’ll do it right now.’ This is an amazing role, and it really made me think, okay, this is something that I want to happen,” she said.

In other news, Lopez was recently spotted hanging out with her co-star, Ray Liotta, on the set of “Shades of Blue” Season 2 in New York City. Photos posted by the Daily Mail showed Liotta wearing his usual blue polo shirt and khaki jacket as Michael Wozniak. Lopez, on the other hand, was wearing an all-black ensemble with a khaki trench coat in the photo.
